4 Power supply
WARNING
If water penetrates the power supply
connected to the mains power, there
is a risk of serious injuries due to an
electric shock. This can lead to ventricular
fibrillation, cardiac arrest or respiratory
paralysis which can be fatal.
Protect the power supply against
rain and wetness! Only charge
RAILSTRAIGHT at protected locations.
WARNING
If the cable is cut or live wires of the
power supply are exposed there is a
risk of serious injuries due to an electric
shock. This can lead to ventricular
fibrillation, cardiac arrest or respiratory
paralysis which can be fatal.
Protect the cable of the power supply
against moving equipment parts,
tools or sharp edges. Do not use a
power supply which is damaged.
WARNING
If handled incorrectly, the
internal rechargeable batteries
can catch fire and explode.
This can lead to heat burns and
chemical burns which can be fatal.
Never short-circuit
RAILSTRAIGHT or
throw it in a fire, crush it, submerse
it in water, forcedly discharge it or
expose it to temperatures above 60 °C.
WARNING
If a third-party power supply is used,
RAILSTRAIGHT may catch fire and
explode. This can lead to heat burns and
chemical burns which can be fatal.
Only use the original power supply
from Elektro-Thermit GmbH & Co. KG.
The rechargeable battery indicator light

lights up green when RAILSTRAIGHT is full .

flashes in red when the battery
capacity of RAILSTRAIGHT or the
external batteries is too low .
