We recommend that you check the charge in your Jump Starter by depressing the red push-button
switch. The meter will show the battery charge.
120V AC adapter/charger charging:
Plug the 240VAC adapter/charger into an 240V AC power outlet and put the other (output DC 12V) end into
the receptacle(Beside DC charging LED) on the front panel of your Jump Starter until the battery mettery
meter shows full (14 to 15 DC).
12V DC/DC power cord charging:
Insert the cigarette lighter plug of the 12V DC/DC adapter/charger into an
12V DC cigarette lighter
receptacle (on your vehicle or boat) and put the other(output) end into the receptacle (beside DC charging
LED) on the front panel of your Jump Starter until the battery meter shows full (14 to 15V DC).
OPERATION
To use your Jump Starter as a 12V DC/DC power source:
1.
Life up the cover of 12V DC cigarette lighter receptacle.
2.
Insert the 12V DC cigarette lighter plug from the appliance into the 12V DC cigarette lighter
receptacle on the side of your booster.
The following table will give you an idea of what operation time you can expect when starting from a fully
charged system.

Jump starting
For optimum performance, when using your power booster to jump start a vehicle or boat, please read and
follow these step-by step instructions:
1.
Connect the red (+) alligator clamp to the red (+) positive battery terminal of the vehicle or boat.
2.
Connect the black (-) alligator clamp to a non-moving metal part of the engine. NOT to the (-)
negative battery terminal.
3.
Switch the vehicle or boat ignition to ON.
4.
Wait a minute or two.
5.
Switch the vehicle or boat ignition to start for no more than 5 to 6seconds.
6.
If the vehicle of boat engine does not start. Wait at least 3-minutes before trying again.
Under no circumstances allow the red and black clamps to touch each other or a commom
conductor.
