Flakes and
impurities
come out of
the soleplate
during ironing.
You have used
hard water, which
has caused scale
flakes to develop
in the water tank.
Use the self-clean function one or
more times(See chapter “Clean and
maintenance”)

Water leaks
from the
soleplate while
the iron is
cooling down
or after it has
been stored.
The iron has
been put in
horizontal
position while
there is still water
in the water tank.
Empty the water tank and set the
steam control to position
before
storing the iron. (See chapter
“Storage”).Store the iron on its heel.

The burst
steam function
or the vertical
burst steam
function doses
not work.
The (vertical)
burst steam
function has
been used too
often within a
very short period.
Put the iron in horizontal position
and wait for a while before using the
(vertical) burst steam function.
The iron is not
hot enough.
Set the temperature dial to a
temperature suitable for steam
ironing(●● to MAX).Put the iron on its
heel and wait until the light has gone
out before you start ironing.
