Conservation of deep-frozen food
At the time of startup or after a period out of action,
place the food in the appliance after having run it for
at least two hours in Action Freeze mode, then take
it out of this mode.
Important
In the event of accidental thawing, for example
through interruption to the power supply, if the
length of the period of interruption is higher than
the value indicated in the technical data table
under the heading "recovery period", it will be
necessary to consume the food rapidly or to
cook it immediately and refreeze it (once it has
cooled down).
Freezing fresh food

food and for long-term conservation of frozen and
deep-frozen food.
For freezing fresh food, activate the Action freeze
function at least 24 hours in advance.

the coldest point.
M. Alarm warning light
N. Alarm disarming button
An abnormal rise in the temperature of the freezer
section (e.g. electrical power failure) is indicated by
warning light (M) flashing, and by an audible signal.
When conditions return to normal, the audible signal will
switch off, while the alarm warning light continues to
flash.
If the alarm button (N) is pressed, the indicator (H)
displays for a few seconds the warmest temperature
reached in the section. The audible signal, if sounding,
will switch off.

• Insert the plug in the mains socket. Press button
(G). The freezer section is now running. The
freezer section is set to a temperature of -18°C.
This temperature will be reached in several
hours.
• As soon as the freezer is running, the indicator
(H) displays the current temperature in the
freezer, the alarm warning light (M) flashes and
the audible signal is activated.
• Press the alarm button (N)
• The audible signal switches off, while the alarm
warning light (M) continues to flash until the set
temperature is reached.
Ice-cube production

trays from the freezer.
Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used, can
be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at
room temperature, depending on the time available
