Ignition of the burners

To ignite a burner, before positioning the
saucepan, approach the burner with a
flame, or in the same time, push the
electronic ignition knob (fig. 12) for obtaining
sparkles. Keep it pushed till turning up of
the flame (1 spark/second). push the
corresponding knob in completely and turn
in an anticlockwise direction to the
maximum position.
The hob burners are provided with a safety
device. The control knob must be pressed in
for approximately 10 seconds until the
safety valve automatically keeps the flame
lit. Release the knob and watch that the
burner be ignited. Upon ignition, adjust the
flame as requred.

If for any reason the flame should extinguish
turn down the relevant knob and re-ignit it
only after 1 minute at least.

If after a few attempts the burner does not
ignite, check that the burner ring and its cap
are correctly positioned (fig. 13).

 

Extinguishing of burners

Turn the knob clockwise to mark «   ». The
safety device is in place.

 Do not put on the hob things or food

liable to melt.
