Installation

Mounting accessories included

5 wall dowels (brick fixing only)
5 screws 5 x 45
6 screws 3x9 (to fix suction unit to lower part of the hood and to fix the deflector)
2 scrws 2,9 x 6,5 (to fix chimney)
1 allen spanner  (for TORX screws)
1 support bracket

Wall mounting

First decide how the hood is going to be used, extraction or recirculation.
If you decide to use the hood in extraction version we suggest the upper section of the chimney is positioned so
that the oulet slots are not visible once installation has ended. If, however, it is decided to use the hood in
recycling version ENSURE that the side with slots is up (see also A-B-C sequence

 

on Fig. 8).

Ensure that the hood is not connected to the mains supply during installation, remove the grease filter and the
charcoal filter frame.

Rest the suction unit on a flat surface and thread the lower part of the hood onto it

Make all the electrical connections between the two parts

Fasten the hood to the suction unit using 4 screws

Mark the wall with a centre line, this will aid mounting procedure

), position the template so that the mid

line printed on the template matches with the centre line previously marked, the lower side of the template
corresponds to the lower side of the hood once mounted

Drill two holes Ø 8mm and fix the support bracket with two wall plugs and screws

Hang the hood

adjust its position

and from the inside of the hood sign one point for definitive fixing

), remove the hood

and drill an hole Ø 8mm

), fit a wall plugs

Drill two holes Ø 8mm on the upper side close to the ceilling

), fit two wall plugs and fix the chimney

support with two screws

Hang the hood again

Fix it securely with a screw

). To simplify the mounting operation remove the carbon filter frame.

In case the hood is to be used in 

filter versio

n, mount the deflector 

on the chimney support 

with two

screws and fit an exhaust pipe

to connect deflector to the outlet hole 

of the hood.

In case the hood is to be used in exhausting version, then the deflector must not be mounted and fit an
exhaust pipe

of the hood to the outside.

Make electrical connection

Fix the chimney

Slide down the lower section on the proper housing on top of the hood. Refit the charcoal filter frame, the grease
filter and connect the hood the the household mains supply and check that the hood works correctly.
