Before performing
any maintenance
including in this
manual, turn the
refrigerator off by
removing the plug.
Never clean your refrigerator with
cleaning agents such as alcohol,
kerosene, gasoline, solvents or
other chemical products such as
detergents, acids and vinegar not to
damage the protective coating.
After cleaning, replace the
accessories supplied with the
refrigerator (trays, shelves, etc.)
in their specific places inside the
refrigerator.
If any food is spilled inside the
refrigerator, clean it up immediately.
Many of these foods can damage,
stain or leave an unpleasant smell
inside surfaces of the refrigerator if
they remain long in contact.
Do not pour water directly into or out
of the refrigerator.
Outside cleaning
To easily clean the outside of your refrigerator,
use a solution of warm water with mild soap
and then dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth.
Every six months clean the condenser on
the back of the refrigerator using a vacuum
cleaner or a feather duster.
Accumulated dust avoids the correct
operation of the condenser, affecting the
performance of the refrigerator and leading
to a higher energy consumption.
Cleaning the door seals
Clean the seals carefully with a soft, damp
cloth. The seals are removable. After cleaning,
dry them being careful not to damage them.
Water collector
Your refrigerator has
a water collector
located on the back
near the compressor
(motor).
Its function is to eliminate water from the
automatic defrost by evaporation.
The cleaning of the collector is not necessary
for the operation of the refrigerator. If you want
to make the cleaning, unplug the refrigerator
of electricity by removing the plug from the
outlet and use a damp cloth.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
Do not remove the collector for cleaning and
do not remove the tubes located inside this
collector.
Inside cleaning
Before you start cleaning the refrigerator,
remember that damp objects can easily
adhere to extremely cold surfaces, for
example, the inner surface of the freezer. Do
not touch the cold surfaces with wet hands,
cloths or sponges. To clean the innner parts of
the refrigerator, use only a cloth moistened with
a solution of water and sodium bicarbonate
(dilute 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate for 1 liter
of water).
Never use metal scrapers, sharp objects,
brushes, abrasive or alkaline cleaners to
cleaning of plastic surfaces inside your
refrigerator.
