POWERING ON THE UNIT
1. Connect the AC Adapter to the AC POWER Socket on the side of the unit.
2. To turn the system ON, rotate the POWER/VOLUME button clockwise until a "click" is heard and set the
volume to a low level.
3. When you have finished using the system, rotate the POWER/VOLUME button counter-clockwise until
a "click" is heard to turn off the unit.
AUX IN OPERATION
This unit provides an auxiliary audio signal input jack for connecting external audio devices like MP3
players, CD players and older, non-dockable iPods (except iPod shuffle 3rd gen) so you can listen to your
external source through the speakers of this system.
1. Set the AUX-PHONO/USB mode selector to the AUX position.
2. Use an audio cable (not included) with one 3.5 mm stereo connection on each end of the cable.
3. Plug one end into the AUX-IN jack on the main unit and the other end to the the Line-out Jack or
Headphone Jack of audio device.
4. Power ON both devices.
5. The volume level can now be controlled through the main unit. Operate all other functions on the
auxiliary device as usual.
NOTE
•
If the Line Out Jack of your external device is connected, then you only need to adjust the volume
control of this system. If the Headphone Jack of your external device is connected, then you may need
to adjust both the volume control of your external device and the volume control of this system to find
the optimal volume setting.

The turntable still functions in AUX mode however no sound will come from the speakers.

Make sure tone arm is securely locked to the tone arm rest to avoid any damage.

Rotate the POWER/VOLUME button counter-clockwise until a "click" is heard to turn off the unit when
you are done. Don't forget to turn off the power on your external device as well.
PLAYING RECORDS
This system includes a full-size, 3-speed, belt-drive turntable that plays 33, 45 and 78 RPM records.
1. To turn the system ON, rotate the POWER/VOLUME button clockwise until a "click" is heard and set the
volume to a low level.
2. Set the AUX-PHONO/USB mode selector to the PHONO position. Please be sure that you have removed
the stylus cover from the stylus and have released the Tone Arm Lock.
3. Set the turntable speed switch to the appropriate speed: 33, 45, or 78 RPM. Set the record onto the
turntable. If you are playing 45 RPM singles, place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
4. Raise the cue lever to lift the tone arm off its rest. Move the tone arm to the edge of the record. The
turntable will start automatically. Use the cue lever to gently lower the tone arm onto the record.
5. Adjust the VOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
