WIRED CONNECTION
1. Press the
▲/▼ buttons to select the wired connection type ( DHCP/STATIC).
2. Press the
► button then press “NEXT STEP” button to enter the next step.
If "DHCP" is selected, click "NEXT STEP", The connection is set-up automatically, then click
Finish. Selecting "STATIC" allows the user to manually enter the IP address and default gateway.
Once this has been entered click on "Set".
Explanation of Network types:
DHCP:
The connection information is automatically assigned by your router, enabling a quick
connection.
STATIC:
Allows manual entry of IP address and other network settings if known.
In the majority of circumstances we would advise for the DHCP option to be selected.
