INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Introduction
To get the most out of your new halogen radiant
heater, please read through these instructions and
the attached safety regulations before use. Please
also keep the instructions in a safe place in case
you need to remind yourself of the radiant heater's
functions at a later date.

Special safety regulations
Pay particular attention to the risk of electrical
shock when using the halogen radiant heater in
bathrooms, in the vicinity of a hand basin or bath
tub, or in the vicinity of water or other liquids.
The safety distance must be at least 1 metre.
Please note that the halogen radiant heater can
become very hot and should, therefore, be placed
at a safe distance from flammable objects such as
furniture, curtains and similar.
Do not cover the halogen radiant heater.
Do not place the halogen radiant heater
immediately under a wall socket.
Do not connect the halogen radiant heater using
an on/off timer or other equipment which can
automatically switch on the device.

Assembly
1. Remove the two wing screws from the bottom
of the cabinet.
2. Pull the cord through the hole in the base
plate.
3. Place the cabinet on the base plate and secure
them with the two wing screws.
4. Secure the cord to the cord holder.
Operation
Position the halogen radiant heater so that it
stands upright and at a safe distance from wet
environments and flammable objects.
Connect the heater to the mains and select the
required heat setting (400, 800 or 1,200 W).
It can also be set to automatically turn from side
to side.
Safety devices
The heater has two built-in safety devices:
Anti-topple function
- the heater always switches
off if it tips or falls over. It can only be switched on
once it is positioned correctly.
Thermal safety device
- the heater always switches
off automatically if it overheats. It can only be
switched back on once it has cooled.
Cleaning
Wipe the halogen radiant heater cabinet and base
place regularly with a well-wrung cloth, and always
keep it free from dirt.
Never use corrosive or abrasive detergents, as they
may affect the plastic parts on the heater.
