Dry boiling cut-out
If the kettle is switched on without any water in,
or the water level is under the minimum mark, the
dry boiling cut-out will automatically switch the
kettle off. It can be switched on normally as soon
as sufficient water has been added.
Cleaning
Disconnect from the mains before cleaning and
allow to cool off.
Wipe with a damp cloth. Ensure no water gets into
the stud on the base or the socket in the bottom
of the kettle.
Do not use any form of strong or abrasive cleaning
agents on the kettle or accessories. Never use a
scouring sponge or the like for cleaning the kettle
as it can damage the surface.
Clean the lime filter in the spout (1) with water
and a soft brush.
Lime removal
Lime deposits ought to be removed from the
kettle occasionally. Use lime remover or wine
vinegar and follow the instructions on the pack.
Always remember to boil the kettle 2-3 times with
clean water afterwards!
