THE CHANGER STATUS SCREEN

Once a DVD has been selected for playback the 

Changer

Status

 screen is displayed as illustrated below:

The 

Changer Status 

screen displays the following information:

1.

Use the 

9

 and 

8

 keys to scroll the description of the

DVD up and down.

2.

Use the 

3

key to browse the titles and chapters of this

disc.

3.

Press the 

4

 

Library

 button to return to the main library

screen.

4.

Press the 

 button to display the playback control

keys.  For more information on this topic see the section
below.

5.

A brief synopsis of the DVD you are currently watching

6.

The cast of the DVD you are currently watching.  The
actors appearing in this list can be seen when browsing
your DVD collection by 

Actors

.

7.

The director(s) of the DVD you are currently watching.
The directors appearing in this list can be seen when
browsing your DVD collection by 

Directors

.

8.

The Genre of the current DVD.

9.

The content rating and year of release of the current DVD.

10. The title and chapter of the DVD you are currently

watching.

You can return to this screen for the highlighted DVD changer
at any time by pressing the 

 

Active 

button on the VIA! Touch

Panel or the VIA!dvdj remote control.

Controlling Playback

The 

 

Display

 key on the 

Changer Status 

screen allows you

to access additional controls to control playback of the DVD.
The following controls are available:

To pause play

• Press the 

C

 key on the VIA!dvdj remote control or on the

VIA! Touch Panel.

To stop play

• Press the 

B

 key on the VIA!dvdj remote control or on the

VIA! Touch Panel.

To resume play

• Press the 

A

 key on the VIA!dvdj remote control or on the

VIA! Touch Panel.

To browse your DVD collection by actors

• Use the 

9

 or 

8

 keys if necessary to highlight the 

Actors

option in the 

DVD Library 

menu.

• Press 

5

Select 

to confirm your selection.

The display(s) show a list of starring actors for the DVDs in
your collection:

• Press the 

9

 or 

8

 keys to step between the actors in the list.

• Press the 

7

Open

 key to display all the available DVDs

featuring the highlighted actor.

• Use the 

9

 or 

8

 keys to step between the DVD titles.

• Press 

5

Play

 to begin playback.
