FUNCTION TESTING

The nozzle shall be set to a flowrate of '5 1/min'.
Automatic shut-off and tightness:
1. To ensure proper function of the automatic shut-off and tightness of the nozzle spout, attach the
EW 22 test adapter onto the nozzle spout until stop. Pull the lever to dispense medium ( urea solution
or test fluid). lnsert the tip of the spout into the liquid. The nozzle shall shut off automatically.
2. Then pull the nozzle spout out of the liquid and pull off the EW 22 test adapter. There should be
just a few drips after removing the test adapter.

Tightness:
While dispensing liquid pull off the EW 22 test adapter quickly. The flow shall stop immediately and
the spout must not drip more than a few drips.

Latching (if permitted, depending on regional regulations):
Latch the lever in the upper position. lnsert the tip of the spout into the liquid. The nozzle must shut
off automatically, the lever shall move back to neutral position.
