DESCRIPTION
ZVA Ad Blue LV is a dispensing nozzle with automatic safety shut-off for wet hose use with urea solution
(AdBlue
®
/ DEF / AUS32 / ARLA32). lt is suitable for filling AdBlue ® tanks of passenger cars and light
commercial vehicles up 3,St ('Light Vehicles' ). To protect against misfilling into the diesel tank, the
nozzle spout is equipped with an interface to allow dispensing of Ad Blue ® only with standard compliant
filling interface to ISO 22241-5.
Each nozzle is factory tested before being marked with the production date and its unique serial number.
HINTS ABOUT THE HOSE CONNECTION
For the calibration of the dispenser only, a flowrate of 8-101/min is required. For daily operation, the
recommended flowrate should be 4-51/min in order to fill ail current vehicles without problems.
ZVA AdBlue LV is preferably chosen with swivel EA 075 LV or Safety Svivel Break SSB 16 LV. These
hose connections are equipped with a volume flow switch, use settings of '10 1/min' for calibration.
Standard setting for vehicle filling is '5 1/min'.
Depending on the requirements of the dispenser - e. g. in order to obtain higher flowrates - it is also
possible to use the swivel EA075A, Safety Swivel Break SSB 16 SS or a fixed hose inlet. These hose
connections are not equipped with a volume flow switch and require the dispenser to be adjustable
to a flowrate of 10 1/min for calibration.
APPROVALS / OPERATING CONDITIONS
ZVA Ad Blue LV is suitable for the use with tiller in lets to ISO 22241-5. The nozzle is type approved to
EN 13012 and ATEX certified.
Note: The use of the lever latch is not allowed in some countries,
special rules might apply. If you are unsure, please contact Elaflex.
Max. flowrate see chapter 'Hints about the Hose Connection'. Required operating pressure (at the
nozzle / hose connection) 1,5-3,5 bar. Temperature range -5
° C up to +55 °
C due to the properties of
urea solution. For use at lowertemperatures, the nozzle should be installed in conjunction with suitable
dispenser heating systems.
WARNINGS
Please read this manual carefully before installation or operation of the nozzle.

Strong Magnet:
The nozzle spout contains a strong magne! which may impair the functions of heart
peacemakers and implanted difibrillators - keep sufficient distance to the magne!. Also
keep credit cards, mobile phones, watches, data storage devices, hearing aids and similar
equipment away from the nozzle spout.
Avoid Misfilling:
Urea solution is no! a fuel additive. Do not dispense the medium into a Diesel tank, but only into a
dedicated separate tank.
Corrosion:
Urea solution can corrode surfaces and metals. Accidentai spills on the car pain! or clothes should
be wiped off with a damp cloth and further cleaned with water. Keep AdBlue
®
out of the reach of
children. ln case of swallowing AdBlue
®
seek medical help immediately. Avoid direct contact to the
skin or eyes as it can lead to irritations.
