Configuration Jumpers
Reset Jumper CMOS Values (JRTC)
The jumper JRTC is used to bring the contents of the battery backed CMOS RAM to a default state.
The BIOS uses the CMOS to store configuration values, e.g. the actual boot devices.
To reset the CMOS RAM the board must be removed from the system rack. Short-circuit the pins of
JRTC for about 1 sec. After that reinstall the board to the system and switch on the power. It is
important to accomplish the CMOS reset while the board has no power.
