If any of the following events occur during normal operation, the power supply should be cut off at once and
the tool thoroughly inspected by a qualified person and repaired if necessary:

The turning parts get stuck or speed drops abnormally low.
•
The tool shakes abnormally accompanied by some unusual noise.

Maintenance
WARNING
-Do not allow brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products penetrating oils, etc, to come in
contact with plastic parts. They contain chemicals that can damage, weaken or destroy the housing, and thus
compromise the integrity of the double insulation.
•
Inspecting the grinding wheel. Ensure that the grinding wheel is free of cracks and surface defects.
Replace the grinding wheel when it has been worn out.
•
Inspecting the mounting screws. Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure that they are
properly tightened. Should any of the screws be loose, tighten them immediately. Failure to do so
could result in serious injuries.
•
Maintenance of the motor. The motor unit winding is the very
“
heart” of the power tool. Exercise
due care when you are near the brush holders.
•
Replacing a carbon brush. Remove the carbon brush housing cap with a flat blade screwdriver. Take
old brush out and install new brush. Make sure the brush slides freely inside the brush housing do
not over-tighten the carbon brush housing cap.
•

should do repairs.
