3. Proper use
The multi-saw is designed for sawing wood, iron,
non-ferrous metals and plastic. It should only be
used with the appropriate saw blade.
Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
4. Starting up (Fig. 1)
Switching on:
Press the ON/OFF switch (1) toward
the handle.
To lock the switch in place, press the
button catch (2) as well.
Switching off:
Let go of the ON/OFF switch or, if
the switched is locked in place,
press the ON/OFF switch again
briefly and let go.
5. Electronic stroke rate control
Use the wheel selector (8) to set the required blade
speed.
The general rules for cutting speeds for cutting work
apply.
6. Changing the saw blade (Fig. 2)
Always switch off and unplug the multi-saw before
working on the machine or changing the saw blade.
Turn the ring (a) on the blade holder (6) as shown in
Fig. 2 until the blade (b) lets itself be slipped into the
slot of the blade holder (6).
When you now let go of the ring (a) again, the ring
(a) should return to its starting position.
If this fails to happen, try turning the ring (a) by hand
into its starting position.
Pull on the blade to check whether it sits tightly in the
holder.
7. Adjusting the soleplate (Fig. 3)
Important.
Pull out the power plug.
To adjust the soleplate, loosen the lever (7) until the
soleplate can be moved. Set the required distance
and refasten the lever (7).
Check that the soleplate is secure.
