7. Grinding
Important: The wet grinder is designed only to
grind cutting tools which have a cutting edge in
the shape of a blade. Any other use may result in
damage to the grinder and place the user in
danger.
The power rating of the wet grinder has been kept
low intentionally in order to produce very good
grinding results while minimizing the risk of injury.
앬
During grinding, the grinding wheel must be
constantly immersed in water to a depth of approx.
10mm in order to prevent overheating of the parts
which are being ground.
앬
Do not overload the device to the point where the
speed of the grinding wheel is considerably
reduced.
앬
Interrupt your work and disconnect the machine
from the power supply if:
- you see smoke emerging from the machine or
smell burned plastic
- the power cable (1) becomes damaged
- any other faults arise on the machine
8. Replacing the grinding wheel

Pull out the power plug!
앬
Empty the water tank.
앬
Remove the fastening nut (4) with a hexagon
wrench.
앬
Take off the old grinding wheel and slide a new
wheel all the way onto the shaft.
앬
Retighten the fastening nut (4).
앬
Carry out a trial run each time after replacing the
grinding wheel. If the grinding wheel shows signs
of axial or radial imbalance, check again that the
wheel is seated correctly.
9. Maintenance
앬
Important!
Pull out the power plug first.
앬
Remove dust and dirt regularly from the machine.
Cleaning is best carried out with a fine brush or a
cloth.
앬
Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts.
앬
When you have finished with your work, empty the
water tank (5) and dry it with a soft cloth. Failure to
empty the water tank may result in damage to the
grinding wheel!
