BEFORE OPERATION

OPERATION OF REMOTE CONTROL 

This Remote Control emits a laser beam as laser pointer function from the Laser Light Window.  When the LASER button is
pressed, laser light goes on.  And when the LASER button is being pressed for more than 1 minute or the LASER button is
released, light goes off.  The LASER POINTER INDICATOR lights RED and Laser is emitted with RED light to indicate laser
beam is being emitted.
The Laser emitted is a class 

II

laser; therefore, do not look into the Laser Light Window or shine the laser beam on yourself or

other people.  Three marks below are caution labels for laser beam.

CAUTION

:  Use of controls, adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result

hazardous radiation exposure.

When using the Remote Control,
turn this switch to “ON.”  And turn it
to “ALL OFF” when it is not used.

POWER ON-OFF BUTTON

Used to turn the projector
on or off. (P19)

LASER BUTTON

Used to operate Laser
Pointer function.  Laser
beam is emitted while
pressing this button within
1 minute.
When using this Laser
Pointer for more than 1
minute, release the LASER
button and press it again.

The indicator lights red
while the laser beam is
emitted from Laser Light
Window. It lights green in
drag ON position. (P40)

DIP SWITCH IN THE BATTERY
COMPARTMENT

The SW4 is used for laser pointer
on/off switching.  SW1-3 is used to
change the Remote Control code.  Set
each switch as shown in the table
below.  Refer to the menu item
"Remote control" in the SETTING
Menu on page 37.
