WORK IS COMPLETED (INCLUDING
FLOOR COVERINGS) AND
BUILDING HAS BEEN FULLY
CLEANED
(Excessive dust & debris from building work can
contaminate the smoke chamber and cause
problems).
An installed smoke alarm must be removed or
covered fully (with a plastic bag or similar)
before renovations begin.
