Workshop manual

6. MUFFLER

Inspect the muffler port for excess deposits.

If the engine has been running  dirty you can clean 

out the exhaust port with a plastic scraper. Make 

sure residue is not scratched against the piston.

Scratch clean or use a fine wire brush.

Check the flame screen and gasket condition for 

obstructions or leakage.
