OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these operating instructions carefully,
particularly the “Safety Information”, before using
the hair trimmer. This will protect you from poten-
tial harm and will prevent the trimmer from being
damaged through incorrect use. Please keep these
operating instructions for later reference. Please
don’t forget when passing the appliance on to others
to also hand on these operating instructions.
Intended use
The EFALOCK hair trimmer may only be used to cut
human hair, beards and eyebrows in professional
use.
Taking into use and charging the battery
The hair trimmer’s battery is not fully charged at
purchase. You should therefore charge it fully before
using it for the first time.
• Make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to
the voltage indicated on the rating plate.
• Connect the mains adapter to the mains and insert
the plug into the charging station (the charging sta-
tion must be standing on a level surface) and then
the appliance into the charging station or directly
into the hair trimmer.
• A full battery charge will take around 90 minutes.
The lamp will turn RED during charging. It will turn
GREEN when the battery is fully charged.
• Charging a battery that has not been completely
discharged will have no effect on your hair trimmer’s
performance. You may still, however, increase the
battery’s lifespan by occasionally entirely dischar-
ging the trimmer until it stops working and then
recharging it (90 minutes).
Use
• The hair trimmer is operated and turned on and off
using the on / off button. The lamp will turn GREEN
when the trimmer is switched on.
• Comb attachments may be fitted to the cutter head
for different cutting lengths. Sizes 2 mm, 3 mm, 4
mm, 6 mm and 9 mm have been included with the
hair trimmer.
Cleaning and maintenance
The hair trimmer should be regularly cleaned and
oiled (preferably daily) to maintain its optimum cut-
ting performance:
• Switch the trimmer off.
• Remove any comb attachments if in use.
• Remove hairs and dirt from the hair trimmer using
the cleaning brush.
• Carefully remove the cutting head by pressing
from above against the cutting head and remove
hairs from the cutting head and trimmer using the
cleaning brush.
