3.2.3 Spring
balancer
The machine must always be operated in
combination with a weight relief system (spring
balancer). Install this with a sliding crane trolley
above the working area on an element
assembled higher or on the ceiling. Information
on fine adjustment of the spring balancer is
provided in Chapter "Einstellung des
Federzuges".
Suspend the rib saw top-heavy, if possible.
The vertical position can be adjusted, if
necessary.
Due to the weight of approx. 3 kg, there is a
risk of injury through the unit slipping or falling
down when fixing or loosening the weight relief
system. Pay attention that the device does not
catch on the snap hooks or hooks in the rib
saw. Work cautiously!
Risk of injury!
When using or adjusting a
spring balancer in combination
with the rib saw!
When the rib saw is not being used, it must be
set down so that there is no risk of
unintentional contact with the sharp saw blade.
4. Handling
Risk of injury!
Never reach in near the saw
blade when in operation.
Otherwise, limbs may be cut or
severed!
Wear eye protection or safety
goggles when completing
work!

recommended when used in
continuous operation!
4.2 Switching
off
•
Remove your index and middle finger from
the switch lever.
The switch is automatically switched off by
