using the RASP, SAN, or FCCS switch panel. RASP, SAN, or FCCD
displays may be used to monitor speaker circuit status.
Paging
To make an announcement in the "Fire Area":
1. Press the Fire Area "MIC" switch. The MIC LED(s) will light.
2. Select additional floors to receive the page. The "Fire Areas" are
automatically connected.
3. Press the push-to-talk switch on the microphone and talk. The page
message will automatically override any tone/tape message being
broadcast. The VU meter on the FCCA indicates audio activity.
To make an announcement in all "Other Areas":
1. Press the Other Areas "MIC" switch. The MIC LED(s) will light.
2. Press the push-to-talk switch on the microphone. No pre-
announcement tone is generated (Mode 4 only). The page message
will automatically override any tone/tape message being broadcast.
The VU meter on the FCCA indicates audio activity.
To make an ALL CALL announcement:
1. Press the Fire Area and Other Areas "MIC" switches. The MIC
LED’s will light.
2. Press the push-to-talk switch on the microphone and talk. The page
message will automatically override any tone/tape message being
broadcast. The VU meter on the FCCA indicates audio activity.
Phone Paging
To make a phone page in the "Fire Area":
1. Establish two-way communications with the phone station which
will make the page.
2. Press the Fire Area "Phone" switch. The Fire Area Phone LED will
light. The phone risers are now connected to the Fire Area (channel
1) pre-amp output.
3. Select additional floors to receive the phone page. The "Fire Areas"
are automatically connected.
4. Any active phone station on either phone riser may make an
announcement to the selected areas. The FCCA master handset may
be used to monitor this announcement. The page message will
automatically override any tone/tape message being broadcast.
To make a phone page in the "Other Areas":
1. Establish two-way communications with the phone station which
will make the page.
