Using the VC-50HD with the Edirol F-1
If the VC-50HD is used with the Edirol F-1 (version 2 or later), the output from an SDI device can be
captured by the F-1, or be sent from the F-1 to an SDI device.

To use the VC-50HD in conjunction with the F-1, make the following setting.

For details about settings on the F-1, refer to the F-1 Version 2 owner’s manual section “Using the F-1
with the Edirol VC-50HD.”

If mode select switch 6 is turned ON so that remote control will be received, operation of the
other switches will be disabled.
Even if the VC-50HD is set to receive remote control, the power will not turn on automatically if
you’re using only the internal AA batteries as the power supply, with nothing connected to the
DC IN connector. Use the POWER switch to turn the power on/off.
