Removing noise
Sound that was recorded outdoors may contain unwanted noises. Here’s
how you can minimize such unwanted noises.

1.
Turn the
input level knob
and all
input level faders
to the minimum
position, and connect your monitor speakers and headphones.

2.
As shown in the diagram, connect your cassette deck to the CH1 and CH2
mic input jacks
(INPUT 1, 2). Connect the left channel of the cassette deck
to CH1, and the right channel to CH2.
3.
Adjust the gain and level.

4.
Simultaneously press the
effect switches
of CH1 and CH2 to select
Stereo
Control
.
If you want to make additional adjustments to the sound, use the CH1 input
level fader or knobs.
5.
Set the
audio/voice effect knob
to
[5] NOISE REDUCER
.

Cassette deck
Stereo Control
Simultaneously pressing the CH1 and CH2
effect switches
will select
Stereo Control
. In this state, the CH1 and CH2
effect switches
will both
light in red.

If you have selected Stereo Control, operating the CH1 input level
fader or knobs will control both the left channel (CH1) and right
channel (CH2) simultaneously. Nothing will happen when you
operate the CH2 input level fader or knobs.
