IV-9. Broadcast Storm Control
A traffic storm occurs when packets flood the network ports, creating traffic
and impacting network performance in a negative way. The broadcast storm
control feature prevents network ports from being disrupted by a broadcast,
multicast, or DLF (Destination Lookup Failure) traffic storm.
Select a limit in the drop down menus behind the storm control features and
click “Apply” to apply the settings.
