IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
•
Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage,
frequency and rating as indicated on the product identification plate.
•
Remove the unit from its packaging and check to make sure it is in good
condition before using.
•
Do not let children play with parts of the packaging (such as plastic bags).
•
Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children
or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities. Do not allow
children to use it as a toy.
•
Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the
product malfunctions, or is dropped or appears damaged in any way. Contact
Customer Service for repair or replacement.
•
Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn the power off. When
touching the unit, be sure your hands are dry to prevent electrical shock.
•
Never install the unit where it is exposed to direct sunlight, excessive
moisture/rain, dust and lack of ventilation near any heat sources.
•
Avoid making contact with moving parts. Never insert fingers, pencils or
any other objects through the guards whenever the power plug is connected,
especially while the unit is working.
•
Always place the unit on a stable, level surface when operating to prevent the

TROUBLESHOOTING
You are not sure if your SilentPURE Air™ is running.
1. Check that your power supply is plugged into an active circuit and has a
green ON light. If there is no green light, call Service.
2. Check that your wall adapter is securely plugged into the unit.
3. Check that the ON/OFF switch is ON (l).
4. Check that the blue light is ON.
5. If all of the above checks out, but there is no power to the unit, call Service.
Your unit is crackling, ticking or buzzing.
1. Turn the power off and invert your unit 6 times or more to perform internal
cleaning.
2. Remove both filters and vacuum well. Sweep your vacuum from left to right
and up and down.
3. DO NOT vacuum the front grill. Only wipe with a damp cloth.
4. Still noisy? Try a different wall outlet (occasionally this matters).
There is a slight static discharge.
Reduce static build-up by making sure your unit is at least 12" from any
computer, electronics or metal.
My unit shut off.
Turn the On/Off switch to OFF (O). Invert the unit 6 times or more, allowing
the bead-cleaning system to scrape the particulate from the air motor wires, and
then turn back ON (l). It is important to perform a bead-cleaning about once a
week.
