Using BIOS
IDE HDD Block Mode (Enabled)
Enable this field if your IDE hard drive supports block mode. Block mode enables BIOS to
automatically detect the optimal number of block read and writes per sector that the drive
can support and improves the speed of access to IDE devices.
Press <Esc> to return to the Integrated Peripherals page.
MC97 Modem (Auto)
Enables and disables the onboard modem. Disable this item if you are going to install an
external modem.
OnBoard Lan (Enabled)
Enables and disables the onboard LAN.
Onboard Lan Boot ROM (Disabled)
This item allows you to enable or disable the onboard LAN boot ROM function.
OnChip USB Controller (All Enabled)
Enable this item if you plan to use the Universal Serial Bus ports on this motherboard.
USB 2.0 Supports (Enabled)
Enable this item if your system supports USB 2.0
USB Legacy Support (Enabled)
This item allows the BIOS to interact with a USB keyboard or mouse to work with MS-DOS
based utilities and non-Windows modes.
