2 Explanation of the safety symbols used
The following safety symbols will appear throughout these operating instructions. The
purpose of these sy
mbols is to draw the reader’s attention to the text of the adjacent
safety information.
CAUTION!
This symbol warns that there is danger to human life and health.
DANGER!
This symbol warns that there is danger to the installation, to
material or to the environment.
This symbol denotes information that helps you to understand the
installation’s operation.
Warning of dangerous electrical current!
Warning hand injury!
No splashing water:
prohibits the use of a high pressure hose.
Danger of explosion: indicates a potential explosion hazard.
Non-potable water: The water is not for drinking. Health can be
endangered by drinking.
Danger of burning: indicates possible hazard due to hot
surfaces or media.
3 Use in accordance with regulations
DANGER!
This Dish- and Glasswashing machine is intended for washing dishes, cutlery and
glasses.
The Dish- and Glasswashing machine must be used only in accordance with
regulations. Other uses are prohibited. The items to be cleaned must be suitable for
washing in Multi washer.
The EcoStar 430 F machine is a technically-based piece of equipment (and is not a
consumer product within the meaning of the provisions of the Equipment and Product
Safety Act). It is intended solely for use in commercial (i.e. non-domestic) situations
