3. If it is not possible to place on ceiling place on wall
at 10/ 15 cm from the ceiling.
4. In the case of a sloping ceiling, place it 3ft horizon -
tally from the highest point of the ceiling.
5. To prevent malfunction of the device, do not install
close (less than 6 feet) to a room which usually
has smoke present (eg kitchens). Don’t place in
wet, dirty or cold areas. Do not place it near an air
conditioner or heat sources. Do not place in areas
infested by insects. Do not place it near fluores -
cent lights.
Note: Do not turn off the device to prevent alarm
sounding.
