SAFETY
OPERATION
The following symbols are used throughout this guide as indicated in their descriptions:
HAZARD INTENSITY LEVEL
There are three levels of hazard intensity identified by signal words
WARNING
and
CAUTION
and
FOR SAFETY.
The level of hazard intensity is determined by the following definitions:
WARNING
- Hazards or unsafe practices which COULD result in severe personal injury or death.
CAUTION
- Hazards or unsafe practices which could result in minor personal injury or product or
property damage.
FOR SAFETY
: To Identify actions which must be followed for safe operation of equipment. Report machine
damage or faulty operation immediately. Do not use the machine if it is not in proper operating condition.
Following is information that signals some potentially dangerous conditions to the operator or the equipment.
Read this information carefully. Know when these conditions can exist. Locate all safety devices on the machine.
Please take the necessary steps to train the machine operating personnel.
• FOR SAFETY - DO NOT OPERATE MACHINE:
• Unless Trained and Authorized.
• Unless Operation Guide is Read and understood.
• In Flammable or Explosive areas.
• In areas with possible falling objects
• When in an area where there is a possibility of an electrical storm.
WHEN SERVICING MACHINE
:
Avoid moving parts. Do not wear loose clothing; jackets, shirts, or sleeves when working on the machine.
Use manufacturer approved replacement parts.

WARNING HOT AREA
:
Do not tamper with the lance at any time,
refer to manufacturer.
When red label is showing black (hot) the
exhaust is HOT ( please note it will take
approximately 3 minutes to heat up the
boiler and the label to change to black)
When the black ( HOT) disappears and
turns to red the boiler is now cold ( please
note the time for this will depend on the
surrounding environment)
Charging the machine
Plug the charger into the charging port on the
machine.
It will take approximately 4 hours for the battery to
fully charge.
A fully charged battery will last for 8 hours. Charger
will show a red light while charging and a green light
when fully charged.
If charger displays anything other that the listed
colours, contact ERS.
Cleaning Gum
Ensure the battery has been charged and
disconnected from the charger (ensure this is done on
a even surface)
Place on a even surface and unzip the backpack
and undo the velcro which holds the pipe in place.
Unsrew the lid on the detergent bottle and insert the
bottle into the the large pocket.
Screw the cap onto the bottle (which is attached to
the unit by a tube) and make sure the tube is pushed
as far down the bottle as possible.
Srew the LPG gas bottles onto the gas valve manifold
and tighten hand tight and place into the 2 circle
pockets.
Secure the pipe using the velcro to the backpack Turn
the gas valves on by turning clockwise ( please note
the gas is now on)
Screw in the appropiate brush on to the end of the
nozzle on the lance.
Zip the rucksack back up.
Operator to place rucksack on thier back and adjust
straps accordingly (please see page 8 )
WARNING
Always remove the brush when its cold. Switch
off the machine and hold in a upright postion
for at least 3 minutes. Always remove the brush
by wearing gloves.
