The CD
+
system
The system as a whole is set up as shown in the next two examples, the first showing a combination of one water
heater and one tank, the second showing a combination of three water heaters and two tanks. Other combinations
are possible as well.

shown in these pictures are NOT necessarily conform all applicable standards and regulations.
ALWAYS have the installation installed by a skilled installer. Safety must be added according to all applicable
standards and regulations.

The basic form of a CD
+
installation is one water heater with one tank.
Shown in the picture are the principle components and connections.
Position tank sensor on ECO tanks
Tank sensor: see § 9.2.1 on page 42.
Example of a combination of one water
heater and one tank
Extra explanation:
1) Pressure relief valve (mandatory in case ser-
vice pipe pressure is too high)
2) Inlet combination with valve (mandatory)
3) Apply filter if necessary (recommended)
4) A suitable safety valve must be mounted near
the water heater (mandatory)

This safety valve may never be isolated from
the water heater by means of a ball valve
5) Mount remote tank sensor in the screw hole on
the return pipe (see picture) (necessary)
When screwing is not possible, mount the tank
sensor on the return pipe as close as possible
to the tank
