1. IMPORTANT REMARK
Congratulations! You are the owner of a carefully designed and manufactured equipment. We
thank you for trusting in us and choosing our ARQIS Series loudspeaker cabinets.
In order to get the optimum operation and efficiency from this unit, it is VERY IMPORTANT -
before you plug anything - to read this manual very carefully and bear in mind all considerations
specified within it. We strongly recommend that its maintenance be carried out by our Authorised
Technical services.
2. WARNINGS
No user serviceable parts exist inside these units.
Never use this unit in the proximity of water. Do not expose the unit to water splashing, nor
place liquid containers on top of it.
Avoid placing the unit next to heat sources.
Use only accessories provided by the manufacturer.
The units must never be flown from their transportation handles. Use the correct accessories for each
application. Whenever loudspeakers are wall or ceiling mounted, a redundant mounting system is
obligatory as safety measure. Use a steel cable or chain of suitable gauge to avoid the fall of the
loudspeaker in case some element of the main suspension system would break away from its fastening
device.
3. INTRODUCTION
Based on studying installers and interior design and system integration professionals as well as
on a permanent contact with them, the ARQIS line of speakers is designed for fixed installation,
especially in environments in need of a compact speaker offering high output, easy installation, long-
term reliability and excellent sound quality.
4. MODELS
ARQIS 105
Power: 70 WRMS @ 8 Ω .
Dispersion (H x V): 120º x 120º.
Equipped with a 5.25" low-frequency loudspeaker or "woofer" and a 1" high-frequency transducer
or "tweeter". It has a double Euroblock connector (INPUT/STACK) with security screws to prevent
accidental connection. The dual connector facilitates wiring when several units have to be connected in
parallel. With the included wall bracket, the speaker can be horizontally and vertically oriented, its
position being set using a single screw. Delivered with a safety steel sling to prevent its fall in case of
accidental pulling out from the wall.
