Guide bar or the chain coming off easily can be caused by improper tension. Especially when using a new
chain, take good care as it will expand when first used.
PREPARATION FOR USE
Motor Fuel: Mix the petrol and 2-stroke oil in the proportion of 25 parts petrol to 1 part oil.
1. Use fresh unleaded petrol. You must use 100% synthetic oil specially made for two-stroke engines.
2. Mix the petrol and oil in the container supplied or another approved container. Never mix fuel directly
in the engine’s fuel tank.
3. Place the power unit upright on the ground or on a sturdy bench and wipe any debris from around the
fuel cap.
4. Unscrew the fuel tank cap and pour the mixture into the tank with the aid of a funnel.
5. Be careful not to spill any mixture. If this happens, wipe the spill with a clean rag.
6. Start the engine at least three meters away from the area where the fuel tank has been filled up in
order to avoid any risk of fire.
DANGER OF FIRE AND BURN INJURIES
1. Always use extreme care when handling fuel! Fuel is highly flammable.
2. Never attempt to fuel the line engine if the fuel system components are damaged or are leaking.
3. Never attempt the refuel the engine while it is running or still warm . A llow it to cool first.
4. Never smoke or light any fires near the engine or fuel.
5. Always transport and store fuel in an approved container.
6. Never place flammable material close to a hot engine exhaust.
7. Do not use petrol which contains ethanol or methanol as it may damage the fuel lines and other engine
parts.
8. Mix only enough fuel for your immediate needs.If fuel must be stored longer than 30days,it should first
be treated with a stabilizer or similar product.
