6) ADJUSTING PIVOTING HEAD

Disconnect the plug from the power supply.

Place the chain saw on a flat surface.

Depress the pivot button and adjust cutting head(0

) until it snaps securely into place at one of the three

positions indicated.

CAUTION:

Do not place hand between pivoting head and threaded base. Failure to heed this caution could result in a pinch point

injury.

Chain brake

In the event of kick-back, the chain brake will be actuated via the front finger guard. The front finger

guard is pushed forwards by the back of the hand and this causes the chain brake to stop the chain saw,

or rather the motor, within 0.15 of a second.
