Patient management
The
ECH
O
SOFT
software allows you to consult the measures carried out from the
AUDI
O
SCHOOL
device, it integrates
a database in which the patient data from the different measures can be stored.
5.3.1
Creating a new patient
By default, the database does not contain any patients, before a measure can be performed, a new patient must be
created. To do this, click on the
New
button in the
Patient
box on the left of the screen.
Several types of information are available, some of which are mandatory such as title, name, first name and date of
birth. The date of birth is used to display the normal hearing thresholds, so it is important to fill it in correctly.
All information about a patient can be edited. To access the patient profile screen, select the patient and click the
Edit
patient profile
button at the bottom of the main screen.
5.3.2
Importing a patient
Connect the device to the computer in order to import the patient data into the
ECH
O
SOFT
software.
Start the device and connect it to the computer via the
supplied USB cable. From the home screen select the
"USB"
menu and the device will be detected by the
computer.
When you first connect the device, the USB driver will
be installed automatically. Please refer to the paragraph
Start the
ECH
O
SOFT
software. Go to the
"Device"
menu and click on
"Data"
.
If the device is properly connected and the USB driver
is working, the patient list should refresh automatically.
The following three import options are available:
Add a patient to the database
(
"Save to database"
).
Synchronise all patients with the database (
"Synchro-
nise all with database"
).
Synchronise all patients with the database in fast mode
(
"Synchronise all in fast mode"
).
