Choke

Move choke lever (B) to Cold Start
Position (

). Throttle must

remain at idle for starting.

4.

Purge Bulb

Pump purge bulb (C) 5-10 times
until fuel is visible and flows freely
in the clear fuel tank return line.

5.

Recoil Starter

Firmly hold unit down. Pull recoil
starter handle/rope (D) until
engine fires, or a maximum of
three (3) pulls.

6.

Choke

Move choke lever (B) back to Run
(

) position.

7.

Recoil Starter

Pull recoil starter handle/rope (D)
until engine starts and runs, or a
maximum of 10 pulls.
