LEADS

1. Close choke and remove air filter cover.

2. Loosen cable retainer plate screw (A) and pivot retainer plate down.

3. Place inner cable in large hole of carburetor swivel (B)

4. Hold carburetor swivel in position, and place throttle cable cap

flange in 2

nd

 slot from top of retainer block.

5. Check throttle for freedom of movement, and that wide open throttle/

low idle extremes are adjusted properly.  Move throttle cable cap in
retainer block to make necessary adjustments.

6. Pivot retainer plate up to secure throttle cable cap, and tighten

screw.

7. Connect ignition stop leads (C) and (D).

8. Bundle and secure ignition leads against engine housing with clip

(E).

9. Place outer throttle cable tubing in clip (F).

10. Install air filter and cover, and tighten knob securely.

ADJUST

 

UNIT

1. Loosen harness clamp screw.

2. Put on harness and attach unit to harness.

3. Slide harness clamp up (G) or down until unit balances with head

approximately 50-75 mm (2 -3 in.) from the ground.

4. Tighten harness clamp screw.

5. Loosen upper U-Handle clamp screws (H), and position U-Handle

for comfortable operation.

6. Tighten U-Handle clamp screws and 8 mm clamp bolt securely.
