Cutting Attachment to Drive Shaft Installation

Saw Chain is sharp! Always wear gloves when handling 
assembly, otherwise serious personal injury may result

1.

Loosen the two (2) screws (A) 

and remove locator screw (B) 

on cutting attachment.

2.

Loosen clamp knob (E).

3.

Pull upper tube (F) out of 

fiberglass lower tube 127-152 

mm (5-6 in.), then slide (F) 

back into fiberglass lower tube 

exposing inner drive shaft (G). 

Align and join star shaped drive 

end of inner drive shaft (G) with 

cutting attachment shaft (H).

4.

Align ridges (J) on upper tube 

with seams in cutting 

attachment.
