Before you start
5. When charging is complete, LED will remain GREEN.

A fully discharged battery pack will charge in about 5.6
hours.
6. Verify battery is fully charged by removing adapter from
charger, then pressing LED button, and checking LED indi-
cator.
One green light blinks indicate that the battery has 0%
charge.
One green light indicates that the battery has 1-24%
charge.
Two green lights indicate that the battery has 25-54%
charge.
Three green lights indicate that the battery has 55-79%
charge.
Four green lights indicate that the battery has 80-100%
charge.
7. Turn off the power switch of the battery pack.
8. Disconnect battery charger from power supply.

Fitting the battery
1. Make sure that the main switch and control lever of the
ECHO rechargeable power tool that you use are at the stop
positions.
2. Make sure that the power switch of the backpack battery is
turned off.
3. Align ridges on adapter with groove on ECHO rechargeable
power tool, and insert adapter until adapter latch gets in the
complete position a clicking sound is heard.

WARNING
The ECHO rechargeable power tool will operate when the adapter is installed, the power indicator LED is lit. Make sure the
ECHO rechargeable power tool is properly positioned to prevent loss of control and possible serious injury.
NOTE
The battery comes partially charged from the factory and needs to be fully charged before first use.

IMPORTANT
Before using the power tool, make sure that adapter is set
correctly with adapter latch in the complete position.
NOTE
Adapter latch is in the complete position when adapter latch
is correctly engaged.
