NOTE

• Check unit for loose nuts, bolts and screws before

starting.

• Always clear work area of debris before starting

operation.

• When pulling starter handle, use short pulls, 1/2 to

2/3 of rope length.

• Do not allow the starter handle to snap back

against the housing.

• Always hold the unit firmly and make sure the

cutting blades are free of obstructions before
starting.

3. Place ignition switch in “START” position.

4. Push purge bulb until fuel is visible in clear fuel

return line.

5. Move choke lever to CLOSE position.

6. Pull starter handle until first firing sound.

7. Move choke lever to OPEN position.

8. Restart engine and allow to warm up.

• Activate brake before starting engine.

1. Put fingers on the left side of brake lever.

2. Pull lever in the arrow direction until it clicks.

(Even when the engine revolution rises after engine
start, cutter blade does not move.)

   WARNING

WHEN ENGINE IS STARTED, CONFIRM IF THERE
IS NOT ANY ABNORMAL VIBRATION OR  SOUND.
IF THERE IS ABNORMAL VIBRATION OR SOUND,
ASK YOUR  DEALER TO  REPAIR.

   DANGER

NEVER TRY TO  START THE  ENGINE  BY
POSITIONING YOURSELF ON THE BLADE SIDE.

   WARNING

BE  SURE TO ACTIVATE THE  BRAKE  BEFORE
STARTING THE  ENGINE.
