“

RUN

” position.

4.

Securely hold the chainsaw as 

shown and pull starter handle.

5.

Choke may be used if 

necessary, but after first starting 

sound, squeeze throttle trigger 

to release choke and return 

engine to idle.

Note: 

If engine does not start after 

5 pulls, use cold start 

procedure. Do not increase 

engine speed while chain 

brake is locked. Severe brake damage will result
