If you are not using the LCD and you want to reduce the power consumption of the FT 6000 EVB, you

can disconnect the LCD’s power as illustrated in the following figure (you can hang the shunt off pin 1

or pin 2):

EIA-232 Interface (JP201and JP203)

This set of jumpers enables the EIA-232 on the FT 6000 EVB. These jumpers are disconnected by

default (these interface are disabled) as illustrated in the following figure:
