After use
Switch the vacuum cleaner off and unplug the power cord from the socket. Always switch the vacuum cleaner
off and unplug the power cord from the socket before using any attachments or cleaning the appliance.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Attention:
•
Always unplug the power cord from the outlet before any maintenance and cleaning.
•
Empty the dust container (6E) after each use and clean the HEPA motor filter, see the following description.
•
Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning the vacuum cleaner filters!
Cleaning the dust container (16E)
1. Press the release button of the dust collection system (9) and remove the whole dust
collection system (16) out of the vacuum cleaner [Fig.
F
].
2. Press the top cover lock (16B) and open the top cover (16A) [Fig.
G
].
3. Empty the container.
4. Replace the top cover so that the locks and the lock of the top cover perfectly snap into
place.
5. Replace the dust collection system in the vacuum cleaner and make sure that it snapped
into place.
Cleaning or replacement of the HEPA motor filter
1. Press the release button of the dust collection system (9) and remove the whole dust
collection system (16) out of the vacuum cleaner [Fig.
F
].
2. Remove the HEPA motor filter ( 16D ) from the dust collection system (16) [Fig.
H
].
3. If the HEPA filter is clogged with dust, clean it. Be careful and do not damage it.
4. If the filter is extremely dirty, replace it.
5. Replace the HEPA motor filter by pushing it on the frame so that the upper tab snaps
behind the safety lock (16C).
6. Replace the dust collection system in the vacuum cleaner and make sure that it snapped
into place.
Cleaning or replacement of the exhaust filter
1. Press the lock of the exhaust filter (20) and remove the grille of the exhaust filter (19).
2. Remove the exhaust filter (18) [Fig.
I
].
3. If the exhaust filter is clogged by dust, clean it carefully so that you do not damage it.
4. If the exhaust filter is extremely dirty or damaged, replace it with a new one.
5. Insert the cleaned or new exhaust filter back in the vacuum cleaner.
6. Put back the grille of the exhaust filter so that the lock (20) snaps into place.
Cleaning of the appliance surface
•
Use soft and slightly moistened cloth with a few drops of the cleaning solution to clean. Never use solvents
or other abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the vacuum cleaner into water or any other liquid and do not
leave it under running water.
Storage
Prior to storing it you can disconnect the hose from the vacuum cleaner. Press
the locks at the end of the hose and pull it out of the opening of the vacuum
cleaner.
You can fasten the telescopic tube to the vacuum cleaner using special grips
(12) and (17) in horizontal
