SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning:
The safety measures and instructions, contained in this guide do not include all conditions
and situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors
that cannot be integrated into any product. These factors have to be ensured by the user/s using
and servicing this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use,
voltage fluctuation or the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label
and that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety
instructions.
2. Never use the mixer if the electrical cord is damaged.
All repairs including cord replacements
shall be performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of
the appliance, risk of electric shock!
3. Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential
electric shock.
4. Do not use the immersion mixer outside or in a damp environment and do not touch the electrical
cord or the appliance with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
5. Use heightened caution when operating the appliance in the presence of children.
6. Do not leave the immersion mixer unattended while it is operating.
7. Hair, fingers or clothing have to be at safe distance from the moving parts of the appliance. Do not
insert any tools or fingers in the container while operating the appliance, you could damage it or
cause an injury. Use the spatula only when the mixer is switched off.
8. Before starting the device, set the bowl in its proper position, attach the blade to the motor and
then plug the cord into the outlet. This reduces the risk of injury.
9. Pay close attention when handling attachments, blade is very sharp and can cause injury.
10. Use the immersion mixer to process foods. Maximum temperature of the processed foods is 80 °C.
Do not use boiling foods!
11. We recommend not to leave the mixer with cord plugged in an outlet without supervision.
Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the
cord from the outlet by yanking the cable. Unplug the cable from the outlet by grasping the plug.
12. Do not use the mixer close to a heat source, for example oven. Protect it against direct sunlight.
13. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
14. Disconnect the device immediately after use from the power supply.
15. Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer, otherwise you risk voiding the warranty.
16. Use the immersion mixer only in accordance with the directions in the user guide. This immersion
mixer is designed for domestic use only. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by
improper use of this appliance.
17. This appliance shall not be used by persons (including children), whose physical, sense or mental
inability or insufficient experience and skills prevent him from safely using the appliance, if they are
not supervised or if they have not been instructed regarding the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Child supervision is essential to prevent them from playing with the
appliance.
