The appliance is equipped with a special water softener using salt dispenser designed to remove calcium
and other minerals from the water.
Addition of salt to water softener
The salt dispenser is located under the bottom basket. Fill it according to the following description:
•
Use only salt designed for dishwashers! Other types of salts, which are not intended for dishwashers, for
example kitchen salt would damage the water softener. In case of damage caused by use of improper salt
the manufacturer does not keep warranty and is not responsible for any damage.
•
Replenish salt just before starting one of the complete washing programs. You will prevent corrosion
due to left over salt crystals or overflowed solution on the bottom of the dishwasher.

C. Put the funnel (not included) into the opening in the container and pour in about 2 kg of salt (for 60 cm

2. If you spill salt around the container, start the soaking / rinsing program, which removes salt.
Filling the rinse aid dispenser
The rinse aid function
Rinse aid is automatically dispensed for the final polishing process and prevents spotting and streaking upon
drying.
WARNING
Use only brand name rinse aids for the dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dispensers with other substances
(e.g. dishwasher cleaner, liquid detergent). The dishwasher could be damaged.
