Note:
The default PIN could be set to 0000 or 1234. If you have defined a PIN (required depending on country
selection) during the First Installation, use the PIN you have defined. If you enter the PIN incorrectly five times
in a row, the PIN will be blocked and you will not be able to enter a new PIN for 30 minutes. However, you can
unblock PIN entry or reset the number of repeats by turning the TV off and on.
Some options may not be available depending on the model and/or country selection during Initial Installation.
Hotel mode
Hotel mode is a special mode that restricts some of the TV's functions and controls. This allows customers to
use the TV in places such as hotels, prisons and hospitals. Possible restrictions are as follows:
•
The user cannot increase the volume beyond the set limit. Can set a fixed volume value.
•
The user can enable direct volume control of the headphones.
•
The customer can restrict the display of certain offers.
•
The user cannot use the buttons on the TV.
•
The customer can limit the choice of input source.
•
The customer can limit the last state of the TV.
•
Teletext can be turned off or on.
•
NVRAM data (e.g. service list, user preferences, etc.) can be copied to or from the USB device.
•
The customer can restrict the use of Pin8 settings.
To access the hotel menu, press the
Menu
and

buttons in turn.
Hotel mode menu items
Hotel mode
Set as "On." to activate hotel mode. In hotel mode, the channel list and settings menu are blocked.
Pin 8
Set as "On" to allow the image mode to change according to Pin8.
The last state
Set as "On" to start the TV in the same state as when it was switched off. If set to "Off", the TV will remain in
standby mode when plugged in again.
Deactivate buttons
Setting to "On." to disable the use of the buttons on the TV.
Deactivate the driver
Set as "On" to prevent the use of the remote control. To turn this option off, repeat the steps to open the hotel
menu. The remote control will operate in standby mode regardless of the setting of this item. If this item is set
to "Restricted", only the volume up/down, program scroll, number buttons, directional buttons, OK button,
mute button and standby button will be functional on the remote control.
Default source
You can set the default source when you turn on the TV. Select the channel and/or source to start the next time
you turn on the TV. The following options are available:
Auto: The TV will start with the last channel watched (if the TV was the last source) or the last source. TV: The TV
will start with the channel you specify in the "Default Channel" menu item. Others: The TV will be started with
the specified source (HDMI1 etc.).
Default channel
You can specify the channel to be displayed the next time you turn on the TV (if "Default Source" is set to "TV").
Volume control
Press the OK button to display the available options in the Volume Settings menu.
Volume limit - TV
Set the maximum volume value that can be used.
Volume limit - Headphones
Set the maximum headphone volume that can be used.
Adjusting the volume when switching on
Set to "On." to enable the use of the startup volume values that are set in the Volume - TV and Volume -
Headphones menu items. If this option is set to "Off", these menu items cannot be set.
