Before performing any Housekeeping tasks to this water heater, be sure to turn the unit off and
disconnect the water supply.
Vacuum around the water heater for dust, dirt and lint on a regular basis. Clean the water heater and
front panel by using a damp soft cloth with a few drops of mild detergent and gently wiping the
surfaces of the unit. Wipe any remaining moisture with a dry soft cloth.
To ensure sufficient ventilation and combustion air supply, proper clearances must be maintained. The
water filters should be cleaned on a monthly basis.
STORAGE
When not in use your portable tankless water heater should be stored away in a climate controlled
area. WARNING: Item should not be left or stored in freezing conditions. Internal damage can occur.
Upon completion of use prepare your water heater for storage.
1. Turn OFF water and gas supply and then disconnect from water heater.
2. Open the drain valve (ribbed cylindrical stem next to the water input valve) to ensure draining of water.
3. Remove the filter at the end of the water inlet pipe and clean. Return filter after cleaning. (see
Housekeeping section above for instructions)
4. Store water heater in a climate controlled area.
HOW TO CLEAN THE WATER FILTER:
1. Make sure the unit is OFF
2. Disconnect the water supply from the water heater.
3. Locate the filter at the end of the water inlet pipe and gently remove
with a screw driver.
4. Rinse the filter in a sink or with a hose to remove any debris.
5. Return the filter by gently inserting back into the end of the water inlet pipe.
6. Reconnect the water supply and turn ON the water heater.
