BASIC INFORMATION
The Smart Connector LX30B-QxT communicator is a modern device
enabling data transmission to the monitoring station in a mobile network
(GSM/LTE) in real time. The communicator is designed in such a way that it can be
connected to the control panel, both using a telephone line and a keypad bus
(Smart Communicator function).
In addition, a distinguishing feature of the LX Connected series are the fully
programmable connectors at the configuration stage, where the installer can
define whether the connector is to behave as an input or as an output using the
program "EBS Config 2.0".
With this solution, an ordinary wired alarm control panel equipped with the
Smart Connector can gain the following features:
• wireless data transmission to the monitoring station and
• the possibility of remote control of the arming.
In order to manage the weapon status, the EBS Security mobile application must
be downloaded from Google Play or App Store.
The connection to the monitoring station makes it possible to transmit data
from the alarm control panel via Contact ID (DTMF) or SIA.
With a telephone line, the LX30B-QxT communicator works with all the most
popular alarm systems.
In case of using a keyboard bus (keypad bus connection), EBS tested the
operation with control panels of the following companies:
• DSC
• Paradox
• Honeywell
A detailed list of the tested models can be found in chapter 1.1 LIST OF
COMPATIBLE CONTROL PANELS.
The use of packet data transmission allows to reduce the costs of alarm
system operation. It is also possible to send text messages to private mobile
phone numbers.
Data transmission security was ensured using modern encryption methods.
256-bit encryption keys and the AES method ( Advanced Encryption Standard )were
used. For this reason, receiving such a transmission is possible with the use of the
OSM.Server monitoring system receiver.
The transmitters can be programmed:

locally with the use of a computer and a dedicated program ‘GPRS transmitter
configurator’
o
remotely – via GPRS / LTE link
– via SMS commands,
